BODY OIL INGREDIENTS

Botanical Name:    Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil (and) Gardenia Tahitensis (Tiare) Flower Extract.

Origin: Tahiti French Polynesia 

Extraction Method:  Cold Pressed / Maceration

Health Hazards:  None expected when used under normal conditions.

Uses:  Traditionally used for over a thousand years, Monoi de Tahiti Oil is an exquisite oil that moisturizes the skin and nourishes damaged hair. The unique properties makes it extraordinarily moisturizing and soothing for especially dry, cracked and aging skin. It is wonderful when used as-is or in formulations intended for after-sun care. It soaks into thirsty skin, has a beautiful feel when applied and is suitable for all skin types. It is also remarkable for conditioning the hair and scalp.

Caution:  Monoi de Tahiti is considered a health supplement, and is therefore not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as being able to treat or cure any disease.

Origin:  Arizona and California 

Extraction Method:   Cold Pressed

Health Hazards: May cause eye irritation.  May cause irritation of gastrointestinal tract if ingested.

Uses:  Natural Jojoba Oil is highly emollient, penetrating and closely resembles the natural sebum within our skin.  It does not clog the pores and provides excellent non-occlusive, non-greasy moisture control. 

Caution:  Jojoba is considered a health supplement, and is therefore not regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as being able to treat or cure any disease.

Botanical Name:   Calophyllum inophyllum

Origin:  South Pacific Islands

Extraction Method:  Expeller Pressed 

Health Hazards:  May cause eye irritation.  May cause irritation of gastrointestinal tract if ingested.

Uses: Tamanu is an effective emollient that absorbs quickly. It helps soothe, hydrate and protect the skin while improving the feel of creams and lotions. This beautiful oil helps support skin integrity and moisture retention. The composition makes it well suited for mature, dry and sensitive skin. Tamanu Oil is also touted for its use in formulations for massage.
